Erasmus Mundus Joint master’s in Economics of Globalisation and European Integration (EGEI)

What is the EGEI Program?

The EGEI program is a two-year (120 ECTS) master's program entirely taught in English, aiming at satisfying an increasing demand for academically trained economists who have the skills to analyze issues of globalization and economic integration competently, make relevant policy or strategic recommendations in the public and private sector, and acquire these competences in a truly global learning environment.

The EGEI program is offered by a consortium of seven universities and a leading global think tank and is supported by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. The consortium consists of the following partners:

The EGEI program also provides students with various opportunities to enhance their academic and professional skills, such as:

•  Lectures and seminars with EU officials, visits to EU institutions and other Brussels-based bodies

•  Interactive modes of instruction: Oxford-style debate, simulations, role-playing games, discussion groups and "pitch" presentations
